Child Safety Standards
Last updated: February 2026
1. Our Commitment
Kuppel is committed to the safety of all users, particularly children. Although Kuppel is an adults-only platform (18+), we take proactive steps to prevent any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform.
2. Age Restriction
- Kuppel requires all users to be 18 or over.
- Date of birth is collected during registration and verified.
- Users under 18 are not permitted to create an account.
- We reserve the right to terminate accounts where age misrepresentation is suspected.
3. Content Moderation
- All photos uploaded to Kuppel are scanned using automated moderation technology before being made visible to other users.
- Photos that do not meet our content standards are rejected automatically.
- Users who repeatedly upload inappropriate content are suspended from the platform.
- We use Cloudflare's CSAM scanning tools to detect known child sexual abuse material at the infrastructure level.
4. Detection and Reporting
If child sexual abuse material is detected on our platform, we take immediate action:
- Content is blocked and preserved as evidence.
- The account is suspended immediately.
- We report to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) as our primary reporting authority (UK-based service).
- We report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where US users are involved.
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
We comply with the UK Online Safety Act 2023, the Protection of Children Act 1978, and applicable US federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A).
5. User Reporting
- Users can report inappropriate behaviour or content directly within the app.
- Reports are reviewed and actioned promptly.
- Users can also block other users at any time.
- We encourage anyone who encounters concerning content to report it immediately.
