I built Kuppel because the best connection I ever made didn't come from an app. It was a friend.

When I was single, I spent more time than I'd like to admit swiping through profiles that didn't feel right. The apps weren't working for me, and I wasn't alone. Every time I mentioned it to friends, they'd say the same thing: "Why can't I meet someone genuine on these apps?" As time went on, friends started saying something else: "I know someone you should meet." And they meant it. Friends were lining up to introduce me to people they genuinely thought I'd connect with.

That stuck with me. The people who know you, who know what makes you laugh, what you care about, who you'd actually get on with, they're better at this than any algorithm. And the proof was right in front of me: I met my partner through a friend. Without that connection, we'd never have known the other person existed, and I wouldn't have known she was single.

Kuppel is built on that idea. It's a matchmaking app where your friends introduce you to people they think are right for you. You still choose. You still swipe. But the recommendations come from someone who actually cares how it turns out.
